Messaging Terms
Rules for WhatsApp and other messaging through UPMYB
1. Scope
1.1 These terms apply when you send messages through UPMYB, including WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform. They add to the Terms of Service.
2. Your WhatsApp Business account
2.1 To send WhatsApp messages you need a WhatsApp Business account connected through Meta. UPMYB can set this up for you using your business details and phone number.
2.2 You must give accurate business information and keep it up to date. Meta may review or reject accounts and numbers, and we cannot guarantee approval.
2.3 The phone number you connect must belong to you or your business and be allowed to be used for the service.
3. Consent and opt-out
3.1 You must have each person’s permission before you message them on WhatsApp, and be able to show it if asked.
3.2 Include a clear way to stop messages. When someone opts out, you must stop messaging them at once.
4. Templates and content
4.1 Messages that start a conversation outside the allowed reply window must use templates approved by Meta. Templates must not be misleading or break Meta’s policies.
4.2 You are responsible for the content of the messages your Flows send.
5. Fees and wallet
5.1 Meta charges for conversations. You pay these charges through your UPMYB wallet or plan at the rate shown. Prices follow Meta’s pricing and may change.
5.2 Messages stop sending when your balance runs out. Unused balance is not refundable unless the law requires it.
6. Quality and limits
6.1 Meta sets messaging limits and a quality rating based on how recipients react. We may reduce or pause your sending if quality drops or if Meta asks us to.
7. Other channels
7.1 If UPMYB offers other channels such as SMS, email or voice, the telecom and anti-spam laws that apply to them also apply to you. You are responsible for following them.
